Rafel Arenas, founder of Acupuncture Senegal, the has been treating an average of 50 patients every day for more than 10 years with acupuncture. with a clinic that consumes more than 150,000 needles a year, its level of experience is hardly comparable to other acupuncturists living in Spain or the rest of Europe. His experience and expertise have allowed him to develop a series of protocols to treat the most common diseases quickly and effectively. A quick, simple but tremendously effective acupuncture.
Acupuncture Senegal was born when seeing the urgent medical need in Senegal. The country health system is very precarious and people do not have the resources to pay for private health care. In Mbaour the Tao Acupuncture Center was created to be able to offer acupuncture treatments to the people who need it most. Ten years later, not only has the clinic prospered, more solidarity projects have been created around it: orchards, wells, schools, toilets ... In addition, Rafel and his partner Núria have started training acupuncturists in the area because they themselves can treat patients.
The proceeds of this seminar will be used entirely to finance the costs of building a school in the village.
